O'Driscoll
Great
Josh Lewsey, who was the linchpin of the whole of England is crowned as the 2003 world champion, wing or fullback in high speed and absolute dedication has surprisingly decided to return to playing rugby. Back to Wasps with which won everything at least until the end of the season. His last game for England was the semifinal of World Cup in France in 2007 (in 2008 was called by Johnson, but I think we did not play), in which just one trial allowed him to defeat the hosts and reach the final. With Wasps played their last meeting in April 2009, at Gloucester.
Lewsey was interviewed recently in Total Rugby (the video above is the interview) and there confessed that he had retired a little earlier than his body allowed him to prove intent was capable of doing other things. One of those goals are defined in an attempt to climb to the north face of Everest. Lewsey, military training, he was always determined to bring his body to the limit of endurance, taking the big challenges. However, the problems in this ascent which could not be topped (he endangers his life) should have been reflecting on whether to use the time that remains in good shape to return to his passion, vice oval.
